Wu-Tang Clan - People Say feat. Redman

One great thing about the Wu-Tang Clan is that you can never be exactly sure who’s in the group at any given moment. It’s been a while since Redman appeared on a new Wu song—at least it feels that way, especially in the wake of the absurd Martin Shkreli situation with their last “album,” 2014’s A Better Tomorrow—but he’s back in fine form on a brand new track, “People Say.” The up coming album and song also features contributions from Method Man, Raekwon, Inspektah Deck and Masta Killa (not to mention a great Patrick Swayze Road House reference).

Produced by Mathematics and RZA, “People Say” features verses from Clan members Method Man, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck and Masta Killa. They all go off,. but Redman is really the star with crazy bars like, “Everybody’s a boss, saying they time’s money/ Women injections, leave ’em with odd bodies/ Babies having babies, wearing Old Navy/ Robbin’ old ladies, that’s a product of no home training.”

Wu-Tang Clan’s next album, titled Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues, will drop on October 13. The project will be 10 tracks long and feature production from the RZA and Mathematics.
