NoMBe-Kemosabe

welp like Mallrat, prior, I am a bit late to the NoMbe train, we featured one of their songs prior on here, but here's another smooth cut that may have touched my ear only after listening to DeAngelo with my homie C in the studio last night...kinda like a new age RnB touch with electro background and buzz.... or electronic soul that touches my electromagnetic soul if u will.   the singer/songwriter has shared ”Kemosabe”, another intriguing slice of genre-blurring genius.

The song combines his rich, soulful tone with a soundscape built up with crisp drums, smooth synths, and honest attitude
Kemosabe,” for the millennials, is the term of endearment used by Tonto toward Lone Ranger in the longstanding American serial The Lone Ranger. “faithful friend,” and its significance as a song title is powerful: It is as poignant as it is ironic. NoMBe sings about the woman who not only broke his heart, but refused to associate herself in any way with him afterwards – “no matter how I beg or plead you still made damn sure we never gon’ be friends.” This is no kemosabe; if anything, this is the pure opposite of ‘faithful friendship.’ and i can resonate with a good unrequited love song.
