PLGRMS- Crawling Back


Sydney-based duo, singer-songwriter Jacob Pearson and multi-instrumentalist songwriter/producer Jonathan Bowden, veer slightly off the electronic path with a more organic instrumentation sound of Pearson’s warm vocals, while synths wail amongst African-tinged percussion, and a funk-laced bass line, to which in my head sounds like Bono or U2 meets some electronica vibe of sorts.  


"Musically, it started, I think, in 2015 maybe. It was when the idea first came up and we started working on it back then and we had some lyrics for it originally that have been thrown out and replaced in the meantime, but musically I think it's pretty well stayed consistent since back then," says Bowden.

Comparable to rock veterans like Muse and The KillersPLGRMS have created a timeless piece with their smooth as gravy vocals and guitar heavy arrangement.
