The most recent Wayne sighting comes through a guest feature on a bouncy, tropical house-inspired song called "Like A Man" from recording engineer-turned producer ONHEL.
The new song hears Weezy tapping into his soft side, providing some melodic vocals and bars over the catchy record that saw production from both Onhel, as well as DJ Sirome. Listeners will notice the Free Weezy MC spitting some of his signature wordplay on lines such as “Got the bricks like I’m shooting from the half court.”
Nothing like a good old fashioned Label/Artist showdown and Beef, and now Weezy has been forced to figure out new ways to get music to his fans. With Tha Carter V shelved for now, new verses have been coming to the surface through remixes and guest appearances on singles from collaborators like Nicki Minaj and DJ Khaled.
